AGM STATEMENT
September 07, 2006. Adamind Ltd, a leading global supplier
of media handling software in the mobile messaging, content and convergence
services markets, announces that at today’s annual general meeting,
Shailendra Jain, chief executive, will make the following statement:
“As announced in our trading updates in June and August, the current
year has been very challenging. Despite Adamind’s leading edge solutions
and large customer base, revenue growth has stalled in the short term
due to a market slowdown. Consequently, 2006 full year revenues will be
at a similar level or slightly above last year’s result.
Nevertheless, we believe that demand for MMS and mobile content consumption
will continue to expand over the long term and the market opportunity
facing Adamind remains large. Media adaptation plays, and will continue
to play, a critical role in enabling MMS and other content services to
be experienced by end-users across any network, device or delivery platform
- be it MMS, email, mobile television or content streaming.
Given Adamind’s long term growth prospects, balance sheet and quality multimedia
technology products and solutions,
the Board continues to look to the future with optimism. Our pipeline
of deals remains encouraging, which gives us confidence that Adamind
will return to revenue growth from next year.”
