ADAMIND SHOWCASES MOBILE WEB SURFING, CONTENT MANAGEMENT AND SPAM FILTERING TECHNOLOGY DEMOS AT 3GSM WORLD CONGRESS
InfoGin and Mobilitec partner with Adamind for joint multimedia rich content adaptation technology solutions
MILPITAS, Calif. - February 14, 2005 - Adamind, the leading provider of rich media content adaptation and enhancement solutions for multimedia messaging services (MMS), content services and value added services markets, announced today it will deliver three technology demonstrations jointly with selected partners at the 3GSM World Congress 2005.
Adamind's expertise in multimedia and content enhancement capabilities enables operators to enrich end user experiences of mobile applications, supporting such media-rich content as images, ringtones and video. With Adamind MediaSpireTM, a network-centric media processing platform, operators are able to offer surfing of any rich-media web content and mobile portals on any mobile device. Furthermore, Adamind MediaSpireTM can filter out spam content such as offending graphic media.

Joint Adamind and InfoGin Demo - This demo features a joint solution that enables end users to browse through web sites containing multimedia content and to view it on their mobile devices, maximizing the end user experience. InfoGin provides user-enhancing browsing technologies for mobile phones, PDAs and iTVs, enabling automatic real-time reformatting of Web sites to any mobile device. Capitalizing on Adamind's media processing expertise, the two companies have partnered to provide a joint solution for mobile operators, for transcoding of any web content that is enriched with multimedia content.

Joint Adamind and Mobilitec Demo - This demo features an integrated solution for delivery of adapted media content that best fits end user device capabilities. Mobilitec's mPower© suite, provides wireless operators a comprehensive end-to-end media service delivery solution through a flexible and secure content discovery, content management, service creation charging and download of all mobile media type and format. Anti-abuse Demo -Adamind's expertise in media handling, as well the Adamind MediaSpireTM unique position as an intrinsic component of the mobile content services ecosystem, enable it to analyze media-rich content, detect spam-specific content elements and filter it out. The demo highlights some of the Adamind MediaSpireTM spam filtering capabilities, demonstrating how operators can safely open their networks to multimedia services without having to be concerned about the possibility of spam infiltration within the multimedia content.
Capitalizing on Adamind's multimedia expertise, viruses can be detected by verifying that the media file matches the original format and is not a dangerous virus. If spam content is detected, the operator can configure rules to decide how to handle the content, either by choosing to remove the detected part while maintaining the remainder of the content, notifying the end user, and more.
